Coaching Skills (Training of Coaches)
Coaching and being coachable are essential competences for the modern workplace. They require the right knowledge, skills and mindset. This course will provide attendees with everything they need to be effective coaches and coaching leaders.
Participants on this course will have the chance to learn from an ILM level 7 accredited trainer and practising coach. Having attended this course, participants will know how to coach others for development, how to utilise coaching in communication, what a coaching style of leadership looks like and how to build a coaching culture.
I have recently trained coaches in Ireland, the UK, Saudi Arabia, Oman and other international locations as well as online.

Having attended this course, participants will:
1. Understand in depth the differences between coaching and mentoring and how the two compare and contrast in terms of methodology, who is leading the development and uses.
2. Know and be able to utilise key coaching models without feeling limited by them and understand best practice in terms of the ethics and scope of coaching.
3. Understand how coaching can be a leadership style and the pros and cons of a coaching leadership style as well as the alternative leadership styles including delegating and directing approaches.
4. Be able to pioneer the building of a coaching culture at their organisations and use coaching approaches to communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
5. Have engaged in numerous coaching practices with others in the group (in coaching pairs, coaching triangles and coaching circles) followed by reflection, peer feedback, trainer feedback and personal action planning, and be able to coach for a wide variety of purposes in real life.
